Adam Rivas

Adam was a dedicated and affectionate father, grandfather, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and spouse. He was a remarkable father and grandfather who always prioritized his children and grandchildren. Regardless of the situation, he had a knack for bringing laughter to everyone around him, often with his quick-witted jokes.

Adam Rivas, 54, passed away on March 27th, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, California. He was born on February 26th, 1971 in Bakersfield, California to Roy and Delores Rivas.

Adam is survived by his children Ashley Yvonne Rivas, Savannah Michelle Rivas, and Adam Rivas Jr. His grandchildren: Jordan Anthony Rivas, J’Marquis Phoenix Martin, and Jaliyah Nichelle Martin. His siblings: Joanna Rivas and brother-in-law John Lopez. His nephews: John J. Lopez and James N. Lopez. His son-in-laws: Marquis Martin and Chase Rollins. His fiancé: Monica J. Rivera.

Adam was preceded in death by his mother and father Delores and Roy Rivas, his brother Roy Jesus Rivas, and his sister Delores Aguilar.
