In Loving Memory of Adolph Falcon, Jr.
05/25/1946 - 10/25/2021
Adolph Falcon, Jr., age 75, passed away on October, 25, 2021 surrounded by his family at his beloved home. He remained in the comfort of his home until his last day surrounded by his loved ones.
Adolph was an AMAZING man. He was respected and loved by all. He would do anything for his family, anything with no judgement. He LOVED his family and wanted to take care of all of us. They don’t make them like him anymore, he is one of a kind.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Anne Falcon, daughters -Audrey Evans, Anne Renee Falcon and Amber Falcon, sisters - Sally Falcon, Janie Zuniga, Nadine Canchola, and Lulu Shadden, brother in law - Thomas Shadden, Sr. and Ronnie Canchola, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Adolph was born in King City, California to Inez and Adolph Falcon. His family traveled between Texas and California for many years before settling in Bakersfield, California in 1958. He grew up with his four sisters and one brother as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins in Texas. He talked fondly of his uncles that watched over his family in Texas.
He was a proud marine and served two and half tours in Vietnam. He met his bride and wife of 54 years in Kansas City when he came back from Vietnam. He graduated from Kailua High School in Hawaii, Bakersfield College, and attended C.S.U.B. He created a great life with his wife here in Bakersfield. He worked as a freight train engineer for 41 years at Southern Pacific Railroad/Union Pacific Railroad and he enjoyed it.
Adolph was a very active man that never sat down. Always doing something, very active with his children and grandchildren. He played racquetball and handball for many years as well he went to aerobics all the time. He loved all sports! For football, he watched all the games, but he liked the San Francisco 49ers and the Raiders because his mother and brother were Raiders fans. For basketball, he loved his Los Angeles Lakers and his popcorn. He loved a bargain and his thrift stores. He shopped at thrift stores all the time. He couldn’t resist a bargain.
Special thanks to Michelle Zuniga, Shay Evans, and Hugh Evans for providing care until his last moments.
