Alfredo Ramirez Sanchez was born on February 23rd, 1952 to Alfredo Garcia Sanchez and Antonia Ramirez de Sanchez in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato Mexico. Alfred passed away January 26th, 2020, after a short illness, at the young age of 67, just short of his 68th birthday. He was the fourth born of nine children. Alfred and the rest of the family immigrated to the United States in early 1964, settling in Caliente, California where he attended and graduated from Caliente school and from Foothill High School class of 1971. Alfred became a naturalized US citizen in 1983. Following in his dad's footsteps as a track man, he went to work for the Southern Pacific Railroad on August 2nd, 1973, eventually the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring after 39 years, on his 60th birthday February 23rd, 2012. Alfred lived Arvin since 1973, loved to laugh, have a good time, and being generous to his family, especially to his mother, who he helped care for since his dads passing in 1983. Alfred is survived by his mother, seven siblings, daughters Ashley and Katelyn, and numerous friends he made along the way. He was a good father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who came to know him.
