Angel Melendez, Jr. was born in Merced, CA on October 2, 1992. He later became a resident of Bakersfield, CA. He enjoyed playing football, basketball and everyone knows, baseball. All the coaches fought to have him on their Inline image teams. Angel lived at his Grandmother's home at the time of his death. He attended Mount Vernon Elementary School, Sierra Jr. High School and Highland High School. Angel is survived by his son, Zachary Christian Melendez; parents, Angel Melendez, Sr. and Maria Elena Melendez; Grandparents, Maria C. Guerrero and Maria Franco; sisters, Michelle Quair Monzon, Sulina Quair, Melissa Quair, Adriana Alaniz Hethcoat, Maria S. Melendez, Nanette Melendez and Jessica; brothers, James Quair, Ezekiel Arambulo, Angel Joseph. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.
Angel was truly our light and will be greatly missed.
