Angela B. Cervantes

November 14, 1955 — June 30, 2016

Angela Barraza Cervantes (Huera) 60, of Brawley, CA, but raised in Bakersfield,CA, left us to be with the Lord on June 30, 2016. After being ill for many years. Before being ill, she loved going to church and praying for people. Angela was a very loving woman with a big heart and a lot of faith. Even though she felt ill a lot of the time, she would always have a smile on her face. Even when they asked her how she was doing, she would always say ,"I am blessed!" Then she would raise her hands up towards the sky and say, "Praise the Lord!"

Angela was born on November 14, 1955 to DavidBarraza and Francisca Vicente, in Brawley, CA. Angela had a very big family, which included 4 brothers and 7 sisters. Angela had 2 daughters and 2 sons, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews. She loved her family so much.

Angela was a very kind and compassionate woman who opened her heart and home to many people. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and talking to people about God. Angela loved to call her family every morning. Just to see how they were doing, even at 3:00 a.m.

Her faith was so strong and her number one priority was God. Always writing scriptures in her notebooks. Angela loved to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren by always giving them what they wanted. She loved them very much. Always sneaking them some candy or gum. Angela loved to sing to them all the time. She loved to sing Don't Worry Be Happy and It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

Her survivors include her mother, Francisca Barraza Vicente, her children Margaret Angon (Vicente), Angie Duarte (Alfredo), Jesus Celio and Geraldo Lopez. Grandchildren, Gabriela, Daniela, Vicente Jr., Isabela and Dulce Angon, Aliza and Ruben Gonzales, Andrea Espinoza, Annabella Cervantes and Jordyn Celio.
