It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Alire Sanchez, who left us on February 28, 2025, at the age of 58. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose prayers, faith, and love touched the lives of many.
Anthony was born on March 12, 1966, in Bakersfield, California, to Frank and Diane Sanchez. He grew up with strong values of hard work and compassion, which he carried throughout his life. He dedicated his career to painting cars, where he made a lasting impact through his dedication and the skills he learned from his father.
Beyond his work, Anthony was a man of deep love and a prayer warrior for his family. He was a devoted father to Krystal Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez Jr., Kenny Sanchez, and Angelena Sanchez, and a proud grandfather to Austyn, Axel, Kayli Hernandez, and Nico Sanchez. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, taking them to the park, going on bike rides, and spoiling them at Christmas. He loved sharing stories from the past to make everyone laugh, offering prayers for strangers, and making root beer floats.
Anthony had a passion for his church, Canyon Hills, and enjoyed dancing, music, and watching his grandkids play football. He took great pride in all four of his children. Those who knew him will always remember his laughter, smile, humor, and warm heart.
He is survived by his children: Krystal Sanchez, Kenny Sanchez and his wife, Sarah Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez Jr. and his wife, Azia Sanchez, and Angelena Sanchez. His grandchildren are Austyn, Axel, Kayli, and Nico. He is also survived by his brothers: Henry Sanchez, Cristela Sanchez, and Kenny Sanchez and his wife, Linnea Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Diane Sanchez, and his loving brother, Frank Sanchez Jr.
