Arnold James Pinson

Arnold James Pinson passed from this earth on January 21, 2019.

Arnold was born in Lincoln County Missouri on Oct. 27, 1941.

He was one of eight children born to Vernette and Court Pinson.

Arnold is survived by his beloved wife Diane Heber Pinson, sons Randy, Mike and Doug, step children Michelle, Tracy and Scott and his surviving sisters; Sharon. Ida and Susie .Numerous grandchildren, great grand children as well as nieces and nephews.

Arnold also had an "extended family": Gary & Lana Grace, Glenn & Lanna Crowson, Pete & Linda Lewis, Keith & Kelly McMahanthese were the people he considered his "chosen family."

Arnold had a tremendous love and appreciation for beauty and nature. He spent most of his time at his beloved Panorama Heights home in his retirement years. Cutting wood, feeding the birds, cooking his favorite recipes, enjoying many celebrations and notorious spade games with friends and family. Arnold met many great friends on the mountain. He cherished them all.

Arnold loved life and was always looking for the good in his world. He struggled with health issues for several years, but never let that slow him down. He looked forward to everyday, and would count his blessings daily.

Arnold's bright light will be dearly missed by those that loved himHe used up ALL his "nine lives" and made a" quick exit" as he had wanted!

A Celebration of Life will be held on Feb. 2,2019 from 2 to 4 PM at Rupp Funeral Home - 605 Pryor Ave. St. Joseph, MO

Arnold was cremated, and he will be returned to " his mountain" at Sunset / date not yet determined.
