Barbara Oleta Tomlinson

Barbara Oleta Tomlinson, age 81, was born June 18, 1935 and passed into the arms of her Savior on June 26, 2016, in Bakersfield, CA. Visitation will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Thurs., June 30, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will begin at 9 am. on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Hillcrest Memorial Park and a Memorial Service will follow at 11 am. at the Bakersfield First Assembly of God Church (4901 California Ave.).

Barbara leaves behind her loving husband, David Tomlinson; six children, Shirley Farris (Mike), Brenda Deering (Robert), Jimmy Rogers (Ann), Elayne Gorham (Ben), Janice Kloeppel (Mickey), and Terry Villareal (Raymond); 4 step-children: Cindy Stevenson (Ken), Sandra Nygard (Kevin), Teresa Jones, and Lisa Chariton (Craig); 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; and a wonderful church family. Barbara is preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Frost. Thank You to Optimal Health Care Services, Jana and the other staff members.
