Betty Lounice Brown, 80 was born Feb. 5, 1938 in Kountze, TX. She passed away peacefully on Aug. 4, 2018 in Bakersfield, CA. She is survived by daughter, Angela Castaneda and son in law Hector Castaneda. Grandson, Andrew Castaneda, wife Mikenna. Granddaughter, Lindsey Adamson, husband Timothy. Grandsons, Joseph, Aaron and Joshua Brown. She had 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by, husband Huey Brown Sr., son, Huey Brown Jr., son David Mitchell Brown., and granddaughter Arica Dawn Castaneda. We will miss her deeply.
A visitation will be held Sunday, August 12th from 5-8 p.m. at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.). Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 13th at 10 a.m. at Basham Funeral Care. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery (3700 River Blvd).
