Billie JoAnn (Barry) Pearson

Billie was born on October 24, 1935 in Pasacola Missouri and joined her family and friends in heaven on March 22, 2016 at the age of 80. Her family moved from Missouri in 1942 to start a new life in California. Billie celebrated her seventh Birthday on the road to her new home in the Sunset Government Camp. Her family later movedto a new house in Lamont in 1944. She met the love of her life, Larry Pearson, while both were attending Arvin High School in 1950. They marriedon November 20, 1954 andlived happily togetherfor over 61 years. Billie enjoyed beingwithher family and watching them grow.She always had a smile to greet youand was liked by everyone. Billiewas preceded in death by her parents, T. and EllenBarry(Robertson) and her sister and brother-in-law, Muriel Maxine and Albert Gerald Cartwright. She is survived by her Husband, Larry;sons, Barry Pearson and his wife Julie; Cory Pearson and his wife, Patty;grand children, Henley Marie Pearson and Beau-Riley Pearson;step-grandson, Paul Olivarez and his wife Melissa; step-great grand children Cyan and Xander Olivarez;sister, Beverly Jean Robinson and her husband Curt; niece, TrudyFoster and her husband, Carl; brother-in-law, Carl Pearson and his wife Jenny as well as numerous other family and friends.The Pearson Family would especially like to thank Billie's niece, Stacy DeVries, for all of her kindness and generosity. We would also like to express our deep appreciation to thestaff at San Joaquin Community Hospital for theoutstanding and compassionate care they provided during Billie's final hours. A memorial service for Billie will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, March 30th at the Riverlakes Community Church,4301 Calloway Drive, Bakersfield, Calif. In lieu of flowers, the Pearson family wouldask thatdonations be made to the Hope For TheWarriors organization. Attendeesat thememorial serviceare encouraged to honor Billie by wearing something inher favorite color red.
