Coming into this world on February 14, 1945, was Called home on September 26, 2016 Born in Steel, MO to Christopher Creal (Shorty) and Hassie Naomi Jane DunehewAttending High School in Corcoran, CA, he met the love of his life Myrna Gail Wilkins. After moving to Bakersfield, he became a Truck Driver, driving for Don Keith Trucking & Mayflower.Bill loved "tinkering" with motors from lawn Mowers to Hot Rods. Building his own which gave him his last ride. He also had a passion for Fast Harley Davidsons, hunting & fishing. Dove hunting with his brothers, seeing whose hat would end up as target practice was a favorite. He enjoyed sitting in the front yard drinking beer and smoking cigars with his friends, talking the talk. His door was always open to anyone, where everyone was welcome and nobody was ever a stranger.Preceding in death are his parents, brother Bob Dunehew, brother-in-law Danny Todd, sister-in law Barbara Dunehew, Nephew, Rex Dunehew, and now united withhis love Myrna Gail Dunehew.Survivors include brother Jim Dunehew (Emily), sisters Mary Carr (Phillip), Judy Todd, Debbie Schmitt (Ladd), Son Billy (Lil Bill) Dunehew, daughters, Leslie (Sis) Daugherty (Jeff), Dawn (Squeak) Wolford (Rodney), Jerrie (Dinker Pie) Ramay (Beanie) along with 13 grandchildren Chad, Melanie, D.J., Steven, Travis, Becca, Manda, Zack and Tiny, step-grandchildren Brandy, Josh, Bryce and Madeliene. 15 Great Grand Children. He is also survived by his Best Friend, Ray Clinton and extended Family, Tommy & Donna Cox, Frank & Barbara Ortiz and Bruce Whitworth.There will be a"Celebration of Life"service at 12:30pm on October 1, 2016 at Almondale Park, 5501 Verdugo, Bakersfield 93312The family wishes to thank the staff at Carringotn of Shafter and Hoffman Hospice for tending to him with loving care his last months here on Earth.
