Blanca M. Rodriguez, 75, passed away on December 18, 2020 at home in Bakersfield, California. She was born on May 27, 1945 in San Benito to Fermin Moreno and Juanita Garcia.
Blanca lived the first years of her life in San Benito, Texas and then in 1964 moved to Kern County, California with parents and siblings. Blanca got married in 1966. She raised her three sons while attending KHSD Adult School. She received her diploma in 1977.
Blanca is survived by her husband, Luis from Chihuahua, Mexico, her sons, Alvino Martinez of Bakersfield, California; Ricardo Martinez of Bakersfield, California and Mario Martinez of VanNuys, California; her sisters Mary Ann Alvarez, Ester River (Tony), Nereida Moreno all of Bakersfield, California; brothers, Fermin Moreno (Petra), of Los Banos, California; Joe Moreno (Victoria) of Los Angeles, California and Ezeliel Moreno (Kari) of Santa Maria, California; her grandchildren Nathaniel and Breanna children of Alvino Martinez; Ricky, Cassandra and Justin children of Ricardo Martinez; Joaquin and Paulina children of Mario Martinez; her great grandchildren Aaliyah and Nyeleti and her nieces and nephews Luis, Sylvia, Christopher, Charlie, Shannon, Anna, Lety, Junior (Ezequiel), Joshua, Christina, Cynthia, Stephanie, Joel, Rene, and Jacob.
Blanca was preceded in death by her parents Fermin and Juanita Moreno. The visitation and funeral service will both be held at Basham Funeral Care at 3312 Niles Street, Bakersfield, California Thursday, December 31, 2020 starting at 10:00 a.m.
