Carmen Frutos was born April 6, 1928 in Bakersfield, California. She attended Emmerson Jr. High School and Kern Union High School. Carmen Married Ernesto Frutos in 1951 and together they raised 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls.
Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Frutos. She is survived by her children, Tony Garcia, Camelia Gutierrez, Martha Fierro, George Frutos, Sally Franco, Rita Garica and Fred Frutos. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 6 brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 10th from 5-8 p.m. at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.). Graveside Service will be held Friday, December 11th at 11 a.m. at Historic Union Cemetery (730 Potomac Ave.) Condolences can be left on Carmen's online obituary at www.bashamfuneralcare.com
