Cecilia Gorospe Duarte

Cecilia Duarte, age 66, passed away Sunday afternoon August 12 surrounded by her loving family in ICU at Mercy SW Hospital. Cecilia had worked many years in the healthcare profession. Her sudden illness caused her to retire in 2012.

Cecilia loved the Lord, she always started her day reading her Bible and journaling. She loved her family and enjoyed it most when they were all together. Her passion was crocheting.

Cecilia is survived by her husband Richard, her daughters Sonya (Andy), Julie (Robert), Racquel (Rudy), grandchildren Marissa (Montana), Rebecca, Rudy Jr., Nicolas, Reyanne, grand pup Blake, Sisters Irene and Meche, many nephew's and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ireneo and Modesta Corpuz.

The family would like to thank the ICU team at Mercy SW, Dr. Mokri, and Davita White Lane.

Memorial Services will be held at Basham Funeral Care on Wednesday, August 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Cecilia lived her life the best she could and will be deeply missed. She is now in heaven with her Lord and Savior.
