Cherie Lynn Bloomquist, born December 5, 1956 in Bakersfield, CA, passed away on October 27, 2017 at her home in Bakersfield, CA.

Cherie Lynn Bloomquist was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. In August of 1978 she married David and they remained together until David's passing in 2016. They had two children together, John and Carl. Cherie stayed at home with the children and was a very dedicated wife and mother. When the children got older Cherie began to peruse her interests. She started her own business, became active in local theater, and attended CSUB where she would graduate with her BA in Psychology.

Cherie was amazing. She was beautiful, loving, strong, fearless, smart, dedicated, and unforgettable. She was the person you wanted by your side in any situation. Words cannot express how much she meant to her family and any attempt to do so falls short. One thing her children can say is they are very proud to call her "Mom."
