Connie Ornelas Williams

Connie Williams, loving wife and mother, passed from this earth to her eternal home with Jesus on January 6th, 2020 at the age of 65. She was born on October 7th, 1954 in Bakersfield, Ca. to Soledad and Mike Ornelas.

In her youth, she enjoyed spending time with her cousins, relatives, and friends. She attended East Bakersfield High School and graduated from Berkeley Unified School District. She joined a Hawaiian dance group where she developed wonderful friendships and a lifelong love for Hawaiian culture.

While raising her 3 children, she met the love of her life, Paul Williams in 1997. Connie and Paul were married in 1999 and celebrated their 20th marriage anniversary this December 29th, 2019. In their union she was blessed with a loving family of in-laws.

She worked as a school secretary for Our Lady of Guadalupe, a job that she loved. She was passionate about her family and her relationship with the Lord. Connie and Paul enjoyed serving the Lord together and grew very close to their church family at Valley Bible Fellowship. She was a kind soul who left a lasting impression on those she met.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mike and Soledad Ornelas, and niece Cynthia Lopez.

She is survived by loving husband Paul, her children, Michael Becker and wife Wendy, Daniel Becker, Alicia Gutierrez and husband Daniel, step-son Paul Williams Jr., grandchildren Brandon, Andrew and Juliana Becker, Luke and Ava Gutierrez, and one on the way. She leaves behind siblings Rita Lopez, John Mike Ornelas and wife Pamela, Anita Moncada and husband Robert, Valente Ornelas and wife Claudia. She was blessed with loving nieces and nephews, cousins, foster siblings, and friends.

She will be laid to rest on Monday, January 13th, services will include a visitation from 10:00-11:00 am with funeral service at 11:00 am at Valley Bible Fellowship, 2300 E Brundage Ln. Burial at Union Cemetery. A celebration of life reception will follow.
