Cynthia Louise Komaromi April 16, 1941 - October 16, 2018
Cynthia Komaromi passed peacefully with her family by her side October 16, 2018. Cindy returned to her heavenly home after a valiant battle with lung cancer. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her through her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Cindy was born and raised on a farm in Fairborn, Ohio with her parents, David and Rose Marie Fortune and four brothers, Dave, John, Jim and Greg. She attended the University of Dayton and later graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Wisconsin.
Cindy was a loving mother to five children; Mike, Sue, Bob, Judy and Karen and devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren; Thomas, Bradley, Cole, Lane, Clay, Kasey, Ryan, Bryce and Sage. Her selflessness nature and infectious enthusiasm for a joy-filled life made her love of life one we all want to emulate. Cindy loved her active and adventurous lifestyle traveling far and abroad, taking daily walks, water aerobics, and playing cards with her Brighton Parks' friends. Dancing was also a joy in her life square dancing, line dancing, and even doing the whip and nae nae with her grandkids.
Her service will be at Saint Elizabeth Ann, Seton Catholic Church at 11:00am on October 22, 2018 with reception immediately following at Brighton Parks Club House.
