Daniel (Mike) Vallejo



August 15, 1951 - June 11, 2016



Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.







He is survived by his wife, Monica, children, Russell and wife Shawna Vallejo, Rosalynn Vallejo, Laci and husband Manny Villalobos, Anthony Vallejo, Nick and wife Kat Vallejo, Danny and wife Lauren Vallejo, Joey Vallejo and Deontae Insell, along with his eleven grandchildren, Marcus, Drew, Caleb, Jayden, Kailyn, Jordan, Vincent, Ty, Nathaniel, Madisyn, and AJ, his mother, Armida (Amy) Vallejo, his sisters Mary (Trisha) Gomez, Sam and husband Jack Curp, his mother-in-law, Jo Anne Martin, best friend, Jessie Supulveda, his beloved dogs Pixie and Bowser, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Vallejo and granddaughter, Allison Vallejo.







Mike was a caring and generous man who loved and provided for his wife and seven children. He was always only a phone call away. Mike was very hardworking and owned his own landscaping business for over forty years. He loved to be outside designing beautiful landscapes or restoring old cars. For almost twenty years he fed the homeless every Christmas morning. It was something that his family enjoyed doing with him and will continue to do in honor of him.







Although he was a little rough around the edges, he had a heart of gold! He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather who loved his wife and children greatly. His family will miss him forever.

In lieu of services a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 3700 Fairmount Street, Bakersfield, California 93306 from 2-5pm.
