Darrell Carriere

Darrell Carriere January 21, 1958 - March 27, 2018

Darrell was born on January 21, 1958 in Bakersfield, CA to Frank and Margret Carriere. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe with his brother and sisters. He loved playing baseball at JBA; his mom was his biggest fan. Darrell left Foothill High School early to receive his GED and join the Army. He served from January 1976 to February 1980, while being stationed in various locations, including Germany. Darrell was kind, charismatic, and loved by his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Margret and Frank. He is survived by his wife Gretchen, his son Gabriel, his brother Mark, sisters Roberta and Jacqueline, and nieces and nephews.

Service will be held, Friday April 20, 2018 at 9:15am at Bakersfield National Cemetery.
