Dashun Henry Sutton was born December 20, 1999 in Sacramento, California to Carolyn Williams and Derrick Sutton, Sr. Melissa Perez was later blessed to become Dashun's mother. Dashun, also known as Nukie, enjoyed being the center of attention, hanging out with his siblings and was an all-around athlete. His first love was football. He played for the Titans, Highland High and Foothill. Some of the other sports he enjoyed were basketball and track in which he had received many awards and medals. Dashun has special bonds with many family members and friends. Dashun was called home on July 8, 2016 at the age of sixteen. He leaves behind unforgettable memories of his life to his mothers Melissa Perez and Carolyn Williams; Father Derrick Sutton, Sr.; Grandfathers James Williams, David Perez, Sr. and Thurman Sutton Sr.; Grandmothers Eduvina Samora, Carolyn L. Williams and Bernice Bingham; Brothers Derrick Sutton, Jr., Tony Bailey and Tevin Bailey; Sisters Craishawnia Hunter, Derrisha Sutton, Leilani Sutton and Derrikah Sutton; Best friends Clitashia Givan, Gary McGowan, Tredell Smith and Owens Longmire along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends. You will forever be in our hearts, thoughts and memories. Until we meet again baby, may you rest in paradise.
