David Duarte

David Duarte, 49, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away on November 28, 2022 of cardiac arrest.

David Duarte was born on November 13, 1973 to Esther Cabrera and Pedro Alarcon in Brawley, California. After David graduated from Foothill High School in 1991, he went to become a correctional officer. 

David met Nancy through family and friends. They started dating in 2012 and got married on July 1, 2017.

David loved the Dodgers and went to many games including the world series. He loved building legos and visiting office max to get the newest pens.

David was predeceased by his grandparents Refugio Duarte, Tomasa Duarte, his father Pedro Alarcon, and his uncles Eduardo Duarte and Daniel Duarte. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Duarte, his mother Esther Cabrera (Luis Cabrera) and his sister Yvette Cordova (Sal Cordova).

Both the visitation and funeral services will be held at Basham-Hopson Funeral Care at 620 Oregon Street. Visitation will be on December 16, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am.
