David Jack “DJ” Adams

David Jack “DJ” Adams passed away on May21, 2022. He was 78.
David was born on December 7, 1943 in Bakersfield, California to David and Pearl Adams.
He was the middle child of 3. His family later moved to Tulare, California.
David graduated from Tulare Western High School in 1963 followed by serving in the United States Army where he trained and served as a mechanic.
In 1979, he moved to Bakersfield, California where he worked and retired from the BNSF Railroad. David loved the outdoors. He loved to travel in his motor home, camp, hunt and just spend time with his family.
David is survived by his wife of 17 years, Delores Adams and six children, Shane Adams (Demaris), Stacy Thompson (Brock), Shawn Campbell, Kirk Adams, Mike Mills (Rebecca), Shawna Smith (Mickey) and his sister Candita Parker (Tom). Together they had 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death of his parents, David and Pearl Adams and his sister Mary Stout.
David will be laid to rest at the Bakersfield National Cemetery with a pending service date.
