David Duarte Ortega

July 23, 1946 — May 29, 2024

David was welcomed by our heavenly father on May 29th, 2024,he was surrounded by his wife, children, and brother Raul at the time of his departure to meet our lord. David was born in Hanford California to Manuel Ortega and Maria Louisa Duarte. He is proceeded in death by his parents, sisters Dolores Estrada and Mercy Lopez. Brothers Frank Morales, Manuel, Jesse, Raymond, and Johnny Ortega. David is survived by the love of his life his wife Selia Ramos Ortega, daughters Lisa Duggan (John), Andrea Marie Tovar (Hector), sons David Jason Ortega (Christina) and Ralph Ortega (Velma). He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. David is also survived by his brothers Rudy, Gilbert and Raul Ortega, sisters Ruth Anaya, Pauline Calderon, Janie Gutierrez, Virginia Marquez, Gloria Wonderly and Rose Villapando. David will be deeply missed by all who loved him dearly. On behalf of my family and I, I would like to give a special thanks to Bakersfield Community Healthcare Hospice nurses Amanda and Jami, and Alex for taking good care of my husband. Heaven has received another Angel, fly high my love, until we reunite again. I love you so very much.
