David "Rooster" Reyes Jr.

David Reyes Jr. "Rooster" was born on February 14, 1970 in Santa Monica, California to his parents, David and RoseMary Reyes. David passed away on July 12, 2018 in Bakersfield, California. David is survived by his mother, RoseMary Reyes; two sisters, Melissa Caraveo and Celeste Reyes; brother in law, Tony Caraveo; his four children, David "Son" Reyes III, Albert Reyes, Virginia "LeAnn" (Mike) Avalos and Christina Soulas; fourteen grandchildren; nephews, Bryan, Kenny, Tony and Noah; nieces, Katie and Dallas; girlfriend, Rebecca Reyes; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, David Reyes; grandparents, Ralph and Oralia "La La" Valdez; and grandmother, Lydia Santa Cruz.

David enjoyed watching sports. His favorite football team Los Angeles Rams, baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers, and basketball team Los Angeles Lakers. He liked going to car races with his best friend, Nick Garcia. David often took trips with Nick, Tony, and Sammy, referring to them as "The Original Hangover."

David has requested for his family and friends to wear his favorite sports teams to his resting place.
