As an infant, I gave you all those kisses, changed you, combed your hair, fed you The truth is. I didn't know love until I had you.
As you got older, hugging you and holding you, you believed it was to comfort you The truth is. You comfort me.
Now we lay you down to rest so that you can now be at peace.
The truth is. I am lost without you.
Dennis Ernest Lopez II, age 30, has left us to be with our Heavenly Father on August 31, 2017.
Dennis was born on April 6th 1987 in Bakersfield, Ca. Dennis was an only child, but not a lonely child, he grew up surrounded by numerous family members and friends. Dennis has these gorgeous blue-green eyes and an infectious smile. He was humorously animated and spoke so enthusiastically. He is loved by many and will be missed by all. Dennis is survived by his parents, Vivian Sierra (Nellie Gomez-Sierra) and Dennis Lopez and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He considered all of his friends, family.
My son Dennis knew The Lord and because of him I too know The Lord. Mijo invited me to Set Free Church four years ago. He said to me, "Mom, you should come with me and check out this church, The Pastor, Mike Salazar is very funny and I really like him". He continued to say "He reminds me of George Lopez (The Comedian)". We went together and thank God for my son I have been serving God ever since. All thanks to God that our relationship has strengthened through the years on Gods time. And, now my son is with our creator. Praise God.
A Memorial Service and a Celebration of Dennis's life will be held at Basham Funeral Care at 3312 Niles St. Bakersfield, CA 93306, at 10:00a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017.
