Dolores Sifventes Reyes

Mommy, mama, grandma Lola, passed away on Easter Sunday, in her home surrounded by her loving family, Tia Suzie, friends, Eva Soto & Comadre Josifina Vaquera. Mama Reyes was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico on November 8, 1934. She was raised here in California, Texas, Arizona, and Oregon. Our mommy was the 3rd child of 16 siblings. She loved cooking, sewing, gardening and making fresh tortillas with all her fixings as well as barbecuing and having Menudo on Sundays too; she also loved all of her 11 children, plus her grandkids & great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents Anselmo & Luisa Sifuentes; her husband of 67 years, Francisco Reyes; 5 brothers and her sister Raquel Sifuentes; son Rogelio "Roy;" grandsons Pancho & Bubba; special niece Rosie Sifuentes, son-in-law Lencho Mendoza and great-granddaughter Serenity "Nity" Casillas. Our mommy leaves behind her children Art (Nellie), Ricardo (Laurie), Fernando, Jose, Francisco Jr., Maria (Rich) Valverde, Gloria (George) Vasquez, Irma (Isidro) Gonzalez, Beatriz Reyes Mendoza and Feliz Reyes; and 24 grandkids, 56 great-grandkids & 1 great-great-granddaughter.
