Donald Anthony Araujo

Donald Anthony Araujo 59, known to many as "Donny", has gone to be with his father. Donny left us on June 17, 2016; born May 3, 1957 in Bakersfield, Ca to Albert and Louise Araujo. Donny loved spending time with his daughters Donette (Ernie Lopez) and Marina (George Martinez) two grandchildren Zoie Martinez, Jason Lopez and four bonus grandchildren; his three brothers Rick, Albert and Bill; two sisters Anna Araujo and Judy Gamino. Numerous nieces, nephews relatives and friends. He attended East Bakersfield High School. He had a passion for working on cars from painting to mechanical work, he loved listening to his favorite oldies, fishing and the Dallas Cowboys.

Visitation for Donny will be Sunday June 26 at 5pm with Rosary to follow at Basham Funeral home on Niles. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Monday June 27 at 10am St. Josephs Church; interment to follow at Union Cemetery.

Our dad will greatly be missed by everyone. Thank you to all who have supported us at this difficult time
