Dorothea Wynell Combs was born June 28, 1933 in Blair, OK to James and Elsie Ralston. She lived in Oklahoma until 1952 when Dorothea and her family relocated to Southern California, where she would raise her three children.
At 40 years of age, Dorothea learned how to drive. She also became employed for the first time in her life. She worked at John Asquagas Nugget for 35 years. She had a perfect attendance record until the day she retired in 2007.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Ralston; her sister, Gwen Bonds and her grandchildren, Robert and Jayme Dailey. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Johnson (Steve), Sandra Beck (Michael); Son, Gene Combs (Renee); Sister, Wanda Williamson; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, All of whom she loved very much and spent many hours with. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 25th at 1p.m. at River Rock Christian Church (4690 Longley Ln suite A8-11 Reno, NV) with a Reception immediately following the services.
