Eleanor Ann Lopez, 75, of McFarland, passed away on October 7th 2018 in Bakersfield, Ca.

Eleanor was born to Henry and Leanor Perez on May 23rd 1943. She married David Xavier Lopez on June 29th 1963 in Delano. She graduated from Delano High School and Federico beauty school. She was a wife, artist and homemaker taking care of her grandchildren for many years. She was involved in Sacred Heart Alter society and president of The Art Shop downtown.

Eleanor is survived by husband David X. Lopez, daughter Diana, brother and sister Larry and Anna. Grandchildren Sarah, Justin, David and Nicolle. Great-Grandchildren Gavin and Rain.

The family of Eleanor wishes a special thanks to Hoffman Hospice and the team that came to help care for her.

Rosary and visitation will start at 5:00 pm, October 15th, 2018, at Basham Funeral Care on Niles.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, October 16th, 2018, at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow a Greenlawn Southwest. Arrangements are by Basham Funeral Care.
