Eliseo Verduzco Maldonado

Eliseo Verduzco Maldonado was born on February 12, 2007 to Eliseo Verduzco Dominguez and Rubi Maldonado Lopez. Eli, 13, was born in Bakersfield, CA and was the second of three children.

Raised in Buttonwillow, CA, he had a great love for the outdoors. Eli spent lots of his time walking the streets of Buttonwillow with his friends. His baby face and dimples were recognizable to everyone. Pajarito is what people called him when they saw him around town. He had a strong, joyful spirit. He would play jokes and would constantly make people laugh with the things he would come up with. He was a leader and had the most adventurous soul.

Eli had a passion for riding. Riding quads is what he enjoyed most. He lived for the thrill. On Friday, September 11, 2020, Eli took his last ride and gained his wings.

Eli is survived by his father Eliseo, mother Rubi, older sister Vicky, younger sister Rebeca, and many friends and family.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 127 E. 2nd St. in Buttonwillow, C.A. The family will be greeting friends and relatives beginning at 6:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese in Shafter, C.A. The burial will follow at Shafter Cemetery. A reception will proceed at the family home in Buttonwillow.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the whole community. The amount of support that has been shown is overwhelming. We sincerely thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
