Elizabeth Frances Aros

Betty was born June 16th, 1946 in Bakersfield, CA to her parents Bautista "Boy" and Nellie Albitre. She passed away on April 24th 2016 and is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her loving husband Rudy; her son, Rudy; her daughter Tina and her husband Mike Calistro; her grandchildren, Nick, Tommy, Josh, Luke, Zachary, Jade, as well as her great-granddaughter Carsyn. Her daughter Teresa Aros; her parents, Bautista "Boy" and Nellie Albitre; and her sister, Dolly Albitre, precede her in death.

Betty enjoyed hosting family gatherings, where she cooked for the ones she loved their favorite meals. She could always be found savouring any and all activities that her grandchildren participated in. She was known by many for her boundless love, kindness, and patience; always willing to pray for anyone. Creating a prayer list for anyone in need of love, she consistently followed up by checking on them. She dedicated her life to loving her family. Her astounding wisdom, honor, and loving-spirit, will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to be apart of her incredible life.

A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Chapel Westbrook, 6501 Schirra Ct., Bakersfield, CA 93313 at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 30th, 2016 with a graveside service to follow. There will be a viewing on Friday, April 29th, 2016 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Basham Funeral Care, 3312 Niles Street, Bakersfield, CA 93306. Reception to follow after graveside services at Kern Christian Center- Gym 4701 Gosford Rd. Bakersfield, CA 93313.
