Our beloved Billie was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. She attended Foothill High School and Lyles Beauty College. Elizabeth was self-employed in Pensacola, Florida; owning a business called All Breed Pet Grooming. She also worked for many years at other Veterinary Hospitals. Her passion for all pets was so strong that she fostered abandoned and hurt animals. Billie loved the Lord and was a very strong believer. She was a beautiful, loving, caring, kind, giving and spiritual person. Elizabeth touched many lives and left an abundance of memories with each of us. During special holidays, she made her chicken casserole. We will always remember her sense of humor and laugh. Billie went home to be with the Lord, but will continue to live in our hearts and memories. At age 60, she is preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Perez- Chavaria; father, Anastacio Frank Chavaria, Jr. (Blackie); sister, Yolanda and daughter, Becky. Billie is survived by her children, Lydia, Betty and Vincent; sisters, Sadie and Jessica; brother, Anastacio Junior; and numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.







A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.). A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (601 California Ave.) Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery (3700 River Blvd.) For additional information, please contact Basham Funeral Care at 873-8200.
