Eric James Barron

Eric James Barron was born on March 27, 1970 in Bakersfield, California and went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 16, 2019 after a short illness. Eric is survived by his mother, Kathy Flick of Bakersfield, his father, Joe Barron and wife Melissa of Odessa, TX, his son, Eric Joseph Barron, wife Amanda, and son, Benjamin, daughter Haley Barron and her daughters, Zariyah and Amelia, sister, Amy Barron and her daughter, Veronika, brother, Chad Barron, and sister, Foxie Barron and her daughters, Bayah and Milani, grandparents, Richard and Sue Flick, Aunt Karen Flick and cousins, Heather, Raechel and Mason Rush.

Eric enjoyed any sport that involved a ball and played baseball, basketball and football in grade school and high school. He loved to talk sports and was able to recite scores and stats for almost any sport and player. He also enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends, barbequeing or going to casinos. Eric never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. He was definitely a one of kind, extraordinary individual. We will miss him.
