Eva Gomez

Eva "Smiley" Gomez was born on June 19, 1960 in Hanford, CA, the family relocated to Bakersfield when she was a young girl. She lost her battle with colon cancer on May 30, 2017. She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Garcia; Father, Cruz Gomez; Son, Cruz Martinez; grandparents; aunts and uncles. She is survived by her brothers, Gabriel Gomez and Ray Garcia; sister, Sandra Garcia; daughters, Evelyn Ruiz Garcia and Connie Martinez; 6 granddaughters; 8 grandsons; 1 great granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
