We are celebrating the home going of Evelyn Polly Richardson. Evelyn was born March 22, 1968 to Deacon Leon L Richardson, Sr. and Geraldine Richardson. She was partly raised in Tulare County and attended school in Earlimart, California and Tulare and later moved to Bakersfield, California, where she attended and went to B.A.R.C. After moving to The Layton Home also attended another Daycare Program and worked in the community. Evelyn was a fun loving person and had a love for track. She participated in the Special Olympics and received numerous medals and ribbons. Evelyn was a die hard Raider fan and tried never to miss a game. She was also a member of Seventh Glorious Worship Center and was actively involved in the women's department under First Lady, Sammy Johnson. Evelyn was preceded in death by (father) Deacon Leon L Richardson, Sr., (sister) Earnestine Richardson, (brother) George L. Richardson, Sr., (sister) Rose Richardson, (niece) Shawna Vaughn. Evelyn leaves to cherish (mother) Geraldine Richardson, (sister) Vera Maize and husband Robert, (brother) Elder Leon L Richardson, Jr., (sister) Deaconess Alice Rhodes, (brother) James Richardson and wife Pat, (sister) Elsie Richardson, (uncle) Elder James Porter and wife Tony, (uncle) Deacon Tommy Porter and wife Marcella (aunt) Sister Elsie Porter, (aunt) Sister Ruthie Porter, and (aunt)Johnnie Porter and husband A.J. and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Evelyn Polly Richardson will be truly missed by all.
