Ezequiel Kevin Cabada Barraza

Ezequiel Kevin Cabada Barraza passed away on November 15, 2021 in Bakersfield Ca. He was born on February 6, 1991 in Monterey Park, CA to Juan Francisco Cabada and Maria Guadalupe Barraza. Everyone knew him as Zeke. He grew up in Wasco CA. He graduated from Wasco High in 2009. Right after high school, he started working at Ag-weld in Wasco. He did that for a short time. He worked small jobs. His last employment was helping clean up after the California fires. Zeke was kind hearted, silly, and always wanted to have fun. He made those around him smile and laugh. Those who were close to him knew that Zeke would help everyone feel welcome. He talked to anyone who came in contact with him. He loved his family very much. His mother raised him and his siblings as a single mother. She strived to give them a better life than she had. Zeke had two loves in his life Dulce and Vanessa. He had two children with Dulce, Mathew and Luna Cabada Flores. He is survived by them, his mother Maria Guadalupe Barraza Salas of Wasco, CA; sisters Lucy Barraza of Wasco, CA, Liliana Barraza Weidman and her spouse Derek Weidman of Christiana, PA; Elma Rodriguez and her spouse Everardo Rodriguez of Shafter, CA; brothers Juan Francisco Cabada Barraza of San Diego, CA, Erik Cabada Barraza of San Diego, CA, and Josue Arreola Barraza of Wasco, CA; and nephews, Elijah Weidman, Judah Weidman, and Silas Rodriguez; and Nieces, Noemi Prado, Leyla Weidman, Adelina Dano, Liana Weidman. Zeke was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Adelina Salas Soto, aunts Alicia Rosario Barraza Salas and Eloisa Lara Salas; and father Juan Francisco Cabada.
