Francisco Navarrette, 73, passed away on 12/23/23 in Bakersfield, Ca. He was born on 11/04/50 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Francisco and Delfina Navarrete.
Francisco grew up in Guanajuato, Mexico. He had a great love for horses. He would train and ride racehorses at a young age. At the age of 17 he came to the United States. He was a migrating farm worker for 40 years plus. He was hard working and well respected and maintained old friendships. He also had a great love for music and dancing. He was a great dancer. His favorite foods were red enchiladas and hamburgers.
Francisco is survived by his son / daughters: Mercedes Romero, CA; Tabitha Ochoa, CA; Francisco Navarrette, WY; Julia Romero, CA; Delfina Navarrette, CA; Grandchildren: Octavio Romero, Mileena Romero, Madison Navarrette, Andalasia Romero, Leilah Romero, Juleene Ochoa, Julius Ochoa, Atheina Navarrette, Harperr Navarrette, Emma Martinez, Hazel Navarrette, Evoleht Martinez, Abilene Navarrette, Arlow Navarrette, Elaina Martinez. Sisters: Eleazar Garcia Navarrete, Teresa Navarrete, Beatriz Navarrete, Virginia Tinoco, Soledad Navarrete.
Francisco was preceded in death by his parents: Francisco and Delfina Navarrete, and brother: Salvador Navarrete.
Francisco will be deeply missed by family and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at Basham Funeral Care 8601 Hall Rd. Lamont, Ca 93241at 9:00am, Friday 01/05/23. Followed by Church at St. Augustine Catholic Church 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at South Kern Cemetery District at 15543 S. Vineland Rd. Bakersfield, Ca 93307.
