February 2, 1949 — March 5, 2022

Gerry Eileen Morgan joined her husband John Ledesma on March 5, 2022 peacefully in her home. Gerry was born February 2, 1949 in Bakersfield, Ca to Oma Lee Keener and Robert Morgan. She graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1967. In 1969 she had her son Carl Lee Owen. Shortly after she attended beauty school and in 1971 she had her daughter Stacey Owen. In 1979 she created a home in Tehachapi with her 2 kids. Being a troop leader for both her son and daughter was amongst the many things she did to be the outstanding Mother she was. In her 73 years of life Gerry perfected her hobbies like cooking, painting, stain glass and ceramics. In 2001 she won the Betty Crocker Softasilk Cake baking contest at the Big Fresno County Fair for her Kahlua Fudge cake. Gerry lived a life full of love. Love for her family, her pets and her food. Those left to cherish her memory and recipes are her 2 grandchildren, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and countless family members.
