Gilbert Lee Helms, Jr

In loving memory of Gibert Lee Helms, Jr. Born September 26, 1954 in Arcadia California and died June 17, 2018 in Bakersfield, California. Gilbert was a hardworking man, who loved his family. He was blessed with a wonderful wife who stood by him for 41 years. Gilbert was proud of his membership in the Yurok Indian Tribe and loved salmon fishing on the Klamath River. He is proceeded in death by his mother Faith Roesener, his father Gilbert Helms, Sr., and his beloved brother Gerald Helms.

Gilbert is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lupe Helms. His children; Michael, Brian, Kelley Nicole, and Daniel. Gilbert was blessed with many grandchildren; Alyssa Helms, Kaylee Helms, Jazmine Helms, Tyler Helms, Brian Helms, Jr., Breanna Helms, Braden Helm, Kayden Helms, Kaysen Helms, Weston Helms, and two great-grandchildren Kahlessa and Raelyn. Gilbert also has 2 sisters, and 3 brothers; Gayla Kern, Gary Helms, Jeff Roesener, William Roesener, and Anna House.
