Gilbert Salazar, 49, was born February 5, 1968, in Bakersfield, Ca and passed away surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his wife Monica, daughter Mercedes, his mother Dora Salazar, brothers and sisters. He is preceded in death by his father Mario Salazar. Although Gilbert was very sick, he still had a playful humor, love for dancing and playing with his nieces and nephews. Gilbert spent most of his time doing what he loved, going to his second home, Eagle Mountain Casino. We love you very much and you will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Viewing will be held at Basham Funeral Care on Thursday, Jan. 18th, 5-9 p.m, Burial will be held Friday, Jan. 19th, 1:30 p.m. at Greenlawn, River Blvd.
