Ignacio Antonio Miranda

January 11, 1940 — September 15, 2018

Ignacio Antonio Miranda was born on January 11th, 1940 in Manzanola, Colorado and left to be with the Lord on September 15th, 2018 in Bakersfield, California. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gloria Miranda, his son Anthony and wife Theresa, daughter Priscilla and husband Marty, son Raymond and wife Petra, daughter Kathleen and husband Rodney, son Richard and wife Tina, son Paul and wife Tammy, daughter Margarita and husband Bobby, and son Joe and Sheri. Ignacio is also survived by his beloved sisters Theresa, Josephine, Margaret, and is joining his mother and father, Josie and John Miranda, brothers Joe, John Jr, and Frank in the heavens.

Ignacio was a husband, father, grandpa to 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, friend, brother, uncle, and the neighborhood's Santa Claus. Ignacio was a very simple man, he loved his cigars, beer, and often found eating dessert before his dinner. He loved being outside in the sunshine, and most could remember him sitting on his front porch enjoying his coffee, or sunbathing in the backyard with his grand kids. Although, we will all miss him and his infectious sense of humor, he is at peace and free with our Heavenly Father. You will forever be in our hearts, Ignacio Antonio Miranda. We love you!

Ignacio's celebration of life will be held at St. Joseph's Church on Baker St on Friday, September 21st at 12pm noon.
