Ralph Lamar McCuan
Aka "Jack"
May 22, 1943 - October 30, 2018
Jack was born in Dumas Arkansas and came to California at age 16. He worked for Guimarra Farms for 18 years before entering the construction field. He retired as a working teamster for ARB and Granite Construction.
Jack was known for his sense of humor. He loved to ask for hummingbird gizzards at restaurants and grabbing your leg and barking like a dog. You could find Jack at Eagle Mountain Casino or the State Line; he loved to gamble.
He is reunited in Heaven with his wife Lola and son Toby. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Gladys; brother, Joe; sisters, Shirley, Francis and Oweta. He is survived by his son, Scott (Sandy); Daughter in Law, Terra Traffanstedt; brothers, Richard, Bobby (Shirley) and Gene (Velma); sisters, Sue Stubblefield (James), Jeanette Breeding and Linda Stubblefield (Charles). He was blessed with five grandchildren; Janaye Joyner (Matt), Jaclin Rogowski (Jon), Jeff McCuan, Toby McCuan (Vanna), Tommy McCuan and four great-grandsons; Parker, Holden, Kaleb Joyner and Jackson McCuan.
The family would like to thank Prolawn and Marilyn at Calloway Gardens for the care they gave Jack.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. South Kern Cemetery Outdoor Chapel. (15443 S. Vineland Rd.). For further information please visit www.BashamFuneralCare.com
