Jack Eugene Walburn was born October 31, 1933 in Wheaton, Missouri. He passed away January 19, 2019 in Bakersfield, California. Jack had a love for his family and flying. He loved airplanes. He was a crop duster for 43 years and more than 42,000 hours in the air. He also loved camping and partying with his friends.
Jack is survived by his wife of 30 years, Florene Walburn: one sister, Anna Dean Morse (Manuel); 2 daughters, Vickie Chancey (Gary) and Gina Smith (Ron); Step Children, Ronda Amick (Mike), Jim Pledger (Laura), Jerry Pledger (Jean) and Jack Pledger. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 33 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Hoffman Hospice and Kingston Healthcare Center for their care and kindness.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.)
