It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved James R. Standlee, Jr., known best by his family and friends as "Jimmy", on April 27, 2018 in Lincoln City, OR at the age of 44.
Jimmy was born on August 1, 1973 at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA.
Jimmy is survived by his parents James and Linda Standlee, wife Amanda and stepsons Jonathan and Justin, sisters Melissa Clark and Natalie Adam, brother John Standlee, and many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, in-laws and loving friends.
Jimmy enjoyed life in Oregon for many years after leaving Bakersfield, California. He loved riding his Harley and fishing along the coastline. He was blessed with an enormous heart and an even bigger sense of humor. He was always playing practical jokes, and making everyone laugh. Jimmy was a beautiful person with a kind and gentle soul and was loved by all whose path he crossed. We are all so blessed and grateful to have known and shared in his life.
Funeral services will be held at Basham Funeral Home at: 3312 Niles Street Bakersfield, CA 93306 on Friday May 11th, 2018 at 1:00pm. Viewing 11:00-1:00
