Jarell Tyron Mock (J.T.), was born December 6, 1947, to Sydney Dicky and Marie Stewart Jones Allen (JC Jones). Jarell was born in Bedias, Texas. Jarell graduated Navasota High School and then relocated to Bakersfield, CA where he completed two years, at Bakersfield College. Jarell then went on to become an active-duty Marine for the United States of America, where he served in Vietnam, and he also earned his purple heart. After his time in the military, Jarell went to work as a gardener for Leo Cheldle and Mr. Jones. He then proceeded to open his own gardening business. Jarell was a very outgoing person. He loved gardening, singing, storytelling, cooking, and sharing jokes with those he loved. Jarell adored and loved his wife of 39 years, Virgie Mock. He treated her as a queen and ensured that she was well taken care of. Virgie and Jarell met at Terrible Herbst gas station, in Bakersfield, CA. Together Jarell and Virgie share eight children. Jarell had a very strong love for his family. Jarell also had a great love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jarell was proceeded in death by his parents Sydney Dicky and Marie Stewart-Jones (JC Jones), his mother and father-in-law Jim and Lorene Thomas, brothers Robert Lee Jones, Edgar Stewart, Jr. Dicky, sisters Rosa Lee Crookshank, Dicy Mae Jones, Ester Brown, and son Raymond Leonard Steward. Jarell leaves many to share his loving memories, wife Virgie Mock, siblings Lois Johnson (Anthony), James Charles Stewart, Loretta Wilson (Stacy), Bobby Lee Jones (Bridgette), Estelle Dicky, B.R, Thomas (Renee), Sonny Levels, Daryl Thomas (Cheryl), James Thomas (Marie), Michael Crookshank, daughters Roynette LaChelle Sim (husband Charles), Renee Roberson (husband James), Sabrina LeShee Mock, Kritina LaNee Palmer (husband Derrick), and Dranelle Te'Shanae Mock, sons Stevie LaVelle Mock and Roy Leon Steward, grandchildren 38 grandchildren, and 58 great grandchildren.
