Jeffrey Dennis Fick, born in Riverside, CA November 28, 1960 to Gerald and Anita Fick, passed away February 11, 2021 in Bakersfield, CA. Growing up he enjoyed riding bikes, golfing and playing guitar, which he became quite good at.
He graduated from Highland High School in 1978 and in February, 2020 he retired from Advance Beverage Company after 40 years, a job which he made many memories. In 1984, he married Shari Davis and together they had two children, Mallory and Fletcher. His grandson, Lucas was the center of his universe. In his spare time he enjoyed having a cocktail or two with his family & friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Fick, stepfather, Buddy Coughran and stepbrother Terry Coughran. He is survived by his mom, Anita Coughran, stepmother, Charlotte Fick, daughter Mallory & fiance Shane, son Fletcher, his siblings and their spouses: Pam Fick-Gerster (Rick), brother Mark Fick (Kelly), step brothers Donny Coughran (Kiki) and Quentin Kauppi (Julie), grandson Lucas, his soulmate Gamilla Arvizu, her children and grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
The family would like to thank Bristol Hospice for their incredible love and support. We are also very thankful for the many friends and neighbors who continuously checked in on Jeff and provided support to the family in this very difficult time.
