Jerome Crystian was just 27 years old when his life was stolen from him. He was a lover of music, family and friends. He was someone you could count on. He was an introvert, but you couldn't help but want to get to know him, like him and love him. He was a foodie and loved to experiment with different food combinations. He loved helping his family and doing just about anything for his mother, Tanecia, whether it was gassing up her car, cooking or just making sure she was ok. Family was everything to him and he was everything to his Family.
His mother has worked for a local law enforcement agency in Kern County for 21 years. Her coworkers would say she always has the best stories. Maybe even say she's crazy (in a good way). She is that coworker who is always making everyone laugh. What stands out the most is how much she loves her kids and to what lengths she is willing to go for them. She would do most anything. She is always so proud of them and she would let it be known to everyone who would listen. Her kids are her world, and part of it is crashing right now.
On Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 Jerome was found 200 feet down a well just 18 inches wide. There is suspicion of foul play, but we don't have any information as of now. Can you imagine reading online about the death of your son? How they removed him from a well with a crane? Seeing this on the news? No mother should have to see this and wonder who did this? Who hurt her son, her baby? So many unanswered questions. The family needs justice and closure.
The family was rocked by Jerome's tragic and untimely death. They were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service and are reaching out to the community during this difficult time. His family would like to give him the homegoing he deserves, to honor him and to say their last goodbyes. Please consider donating, 100% of the funds raised will go directly to the family. and there are no fees to get the money out. Any amount would truly help.
