Jessica Desiree Espericueta was born on June 10th, 1989 in Bakersfield, California. Jessica was truly born a gift from God. She was born on her mother's birthday, the greatest gift of all! Jessica was a special person inside and out. She shared every bit of love she had to give with her family, her friends, and everyone she met along the way. Jessica graduated from Bakersfield High School in 2007 and attended college until she became ill and started her long and painful battle with Lupus. Jessica was raised a Christian and knew one day she would be called home. She lived her life full of happiness because she knew Jesus Christ and accepted him as her Lord and Savior. Her heart was so big and filled with so much love, she made sure everyone had a place in there. Jessica knew that she was ill, but it never stopped her from making sure everyone else was always okay. She loved and enjoyed so many things in life here on earth. She was a Number 1 fan of the GreenBay Packers and actor Johnny Depp, she enjoyed traveling and going on trips with her Nana and Tata and cousins, and she loved making scrap books of pictures documenting all the special memories and people in her life. Although Jessica was never a mother herself, she loved and cared for many baby cousins and kids as if they were her own. Jessica was happy, loving, pure, honest, joyful, and always smiling! On October 5th, 2019 at the young age of 30, she got her wings and flew to heaven to be with Jesus. She is loved and survived by her mother Elida Romero, sister and brother, Sienna and David Hernandez. Her Nana and Tata, Mary and Felix Romero, (who she always called Grammy and Grampy) Jeziah Romero, and great grandma, Lillian Garcia. Her Tias and Tios, Felicia Tijerina, Marlina and Fidel Zavala, Junior and Kory Romero, and Jorge Tijerina. Her cousins, Desiree Romero and Maddie Romero-Presley, Jj, Nikki, and Gabby Tijerina, Sarina Banta, Isaiah Ramos, Jazlyn Romero, Jalissa Romero, Jacob Zavala, Genesis Tijerina, Carmen Romero, Jas on Zavala, Alexia Romero, Felix Romero, Jayden Zavala, MaryJayne Romero, Tryniti Romero, Adrian Romero, and Lorenzo Romero. Jesse Espericueta and family. David Hernandez and family. And all of the Romero family that will miss her dearly. Jessica, we love you and we'll see you again someday in heaven. Keep watching over us as you always did. You will never leave that special place in our hearts that you made by loving us all unconditionally.
