Jewel Lucille Lawson was born on February 9, 1934 in Bono, Arkansas to Jerry and Ruby Ponder. She passed away on March 25, 2017.



Jewel loved to travel, going to the beach and sports. God, church, family and friends were her life. She attended Truth Tabernacle for 35 years. She loved the preaching/teaching of both Senior Pastor Mullings and Pastor Johnathan Mullings. Jewel was loved by all. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Jacque Webb and Tina Kolhoff. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Deborah and Brad Robinson; her son, Michael Lawson; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.



Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Truth Tabernacle (214 Hosking Ave.) For additional information, please contact Basham Funeral Care at 873-8200.
