Joe Leonard Campas

Joe was born in Grand Junction, Colorado to Joseph and Rose Campas. He passed away from Leukemia in his childhood home of Bakersfield from the time he was 8 years old. He graduated from EBHS in 1978. A year later he enlisted in the Air Force becoming an Aircraft Environmental Systems Mechanic for the following 5 years. He leaves behind his wife, Tracee; brothers, Jesse, Julio, Paul and their families; also a daughter, Kaitlin and a son, Joshua.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) at 10:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow at Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd.) For additional information please contact Basham Funeral Care at 873-8200.
